The Central Coast Community Women’s Health Centre is governed by a Board of Directors that consists of up to seven women identified from the community and elected annually by and from the Membership at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) held in September each year.

The Board of Directors meets monthly to discuss strategic and governance issues and all workers and volunteers have the opportunity to raise issues with the Board either directly or through the Manager who attends Board meetings.

The directors contribute their skills to the Board including much long term experience in and knowledge of the community sector, as well as policy development, clinical issues, teaching and training, strategic planning, business development and financial expertise.
