Groups run from the Centre include those related to:

  • Walking Group
  • Menopause
  • Bookclub
  • Coffee Morning

These groups can assist women to:

  • Build confidence and self esteem
  • Break down the isolation often experienced when confronted with difficulties
  • Develop existing skills and embrace new skills
  • Share information and knowledge with, and gain support from other women

Group booking policy

We keep our group sizes small so that each participant has the maximum opportunity for participation, learning and growth. If you wish to book a place in one of our groups, you must be committed to attend for the full course duration. For some of our groups we also require you to attend the first week; missing the first week will mean that you will no longer be able to attend the group.

We also ask that you:

  • Be on time for group
  • Make a commitment to work towards change
  • Let us know if you can no longer attend before the group starts, so that we can offer the place to someone else.
